Ian’s medium is paint, but his language is energy, movement and light. He uses colour to electrifying effect to create abstract works of great beauty, often on a grand scale.
Ian’s work exists in a liminal, changing state, between sleep and wakefulness, between the contemporary and the timeless.
It is bold, raw and uncompromising. It provokes visceral reactions and challenges us to create our own individual narratives in response to the surreal, unknown and unknowable forms.
